The content is at an intermediate level, and is aligned with NASBA’s Business Mgmt. & Organization, Finance, Information Technology, and Specialized Knowledge Field of Study.

Learning consists of on-demand videos, mandatory reading, Review Questions, an original essay or two Qualifying Assessments. You may choose to spend more time in areas that are of particular interest or those that are less familiar.

  1. On-demand videos are accessible when you log into the course on our password protected site, and until graduation. The videos are organized into 15 sequential Modules, which are clearly labelled, and which consist of short Lessons covering related topics.
  1. There is mandatory reading for each Module, accessible in our Resource Library in our password protected learning site. It is important that you read the assigned materials, particularly if you are in the CPE-credit stream, as the content may be tested in the Qualifying Assessments.
  1. At the end of each Module, you must successfully respond to Review Questions that reinforce what was covered in the Module. You must achieve a passing grade of 80% prior to advancing to the next Module.
  1. If you are enrolled in the Core program stream (e.g., excludes participant in the CPE-Credit stream), you will author a short essay at the end of the program to demonstrate comprehension and how to apply some element(s) of what you’ve learned.
  1. If you are enrolled in the CPE-Credit program stream, you must successfully complete two Qualifying Assessments by achieving a minimum passing grade on each.

Yes, your C3PRMP certification is valid for three (3) years from the date of issue and must be renewed according to our policies and processes. To maintain your certification, you must submit an Application for Certification Renewal and provide evidence that you earned 75 Continuing Education (CE) credits during the renewal period.

Alternatively, you may choose to re-enroll in C3PRMP and complete all learning activities. We offer deeply discounted fees for participants choosing to re-enroll.

For details about eligible CE credits or how to re-enroll in C3PRMP for a deeply discounted fee, our website has all the information you need to know about Maintaining Your Certification. Or ask us for a copy of our Recertification Policy.

The Application for Certification Renewal, and Instructions, Application for Re-Enrollment, and Continuing Education (CE) Credits submission form can be found when you enroll in our Maintaing your C3PRMP Certification on our website, including recertification processing and re-enrollment fees.

Yes! C3PRMP is the global “gold standard” for third party risk management designations, and there is a lot to learn. Investing in yourself and C3PRMP certification demonstrates that you and your organization are serious about managing third party risks and relationships.

C3PRMP will enhance your expertise and sharpen your skills in the “hottest” risk topic that is affecting organizations around the world today. And your professional designations follow you in your career, wherever you go.

If you work in a regulated entity, remember that a recognized certification identifies you as a qualified professional. C3PRMP provides documentary evidence that key personnel have the requisite commitment and knowledge.

Yes. You must have one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of management experience
  • 5+ years of general business experience

After you complete each Module, you will consolidate your understanding of the content and reinforce your learning by successfully responding to the Review Questions before moving to the next Module.

All C3PRMP participants must achieve a minimum passing grade of 80% on each set of Review Questions. You can respond as many times as necessary until you pass.

NASBA Standards require participants to successfully complete our Qualifying Assessments, which are multiple choice “exams” in C3PRMP, to qualify for CPE credits.

The first Qualifying Assessment takes place after completing all coursework for Modules 1 to 7 inclusive. The second Qualifying Assessment takes place after completing all coursework in Modules 8 to 15.

Unlike the Review Questions that present detailed explanations and the source for correct and incorrect responses, immediately upon completion you will receive a grade but no further details.

Good news….

  • you can complete the Qualifying Assessment as many times as needed to achieve a 70% passing grade within the time limit for the program.
  • All content from the Qualifying Assessments is sourced from the videos and mandatory reading.
  • Qualifying Assessments are designed to test comprehension, not “trick” you!

Consider preparing for a Qualifying Assessment by spending some quality time with the Review Questions found at the end of each Module. Ensure that you understand the meaning of the response options for each question by intentionally selecting correct and incorrect responses. You will be presented with an explanation for each response option, and its source.

All Core Participants (e.g., this excludes CPE-Credit Participants) will author an original essay that demonstrates their understanding of one or more elements of what was covered, and how it applies in a real-life situation. The minimum length is 800 words, and there is no maximum.

Essays are subject to a plagiarism check, and may result in the Participant being expelled, without a refund.

Your essay will be read by Faculty, and you will receive their feedback. With your permission, we may feature your essay in Third Party Risk Institute’s Newsletter, with or without attribution, according to your wishes.

When you have completed all program requirements, you join the growing ranks of Certified Third Party Risk Management Professionals, and earn the right to use the C3PRMP professional designation in your electronic signature, in social media, and your CV.

Within two weeks of completing all requirements, you will receive your C3PRMP Certificate of Completion and digital badge.

C3PRMP graduates receive a one-year complementary membership in Third Party Risk Institute Ltd. or one-year extension or those with existing memberships. Membership gives you access to our Resource Library, standing invitation to our “Ask the Expert” live stream video series, Discussion Forum, Newsletter, and preferred pricing on other products and services.
